Live resin is a cannabis oil concentrate produced from cryogenic extracted fresh- frozen cannabis sativa plant material.  This method of extraction retains the robust flavor of the essential oils some of which would be lost in the drying and curing process.

What is cured resin?

Cured resin is similar to live resin but dry, cured cannabis is used in the cryogenic extraction process. Cured resin produces a cannabis extract that smells and tastes closer to the dry cured cannabis plant smell, versus the living cannabis plant smells in live resins.

Cannabis produces over 200 different types of Terpenes, flavonoids, esters, thiols, and a few newly identified Volatile Sulfur Compounds (VSCs). These groups of compounds are the primary elements of the essential oils in cannabis plants.  They are responsible for the cannabis plant’s flavor and aroma.  Cannabis, unlike other plants, has a very large genetic bank, it produces an enormous variety of “strains” of Cannabis Sativa.  Each strain produces a unique smell and taste.
